Zombie Carrots!

living-carrots-200x150Night of the Living Carrots

“It’s Halloween and a mutant alien pumpkin explodes on the Murphy’s carrot garden. Now, zombie carrots rise up to attack the town, biting the townspeople and taking over their minds. B.O.B., Dr. Cockroach and The Missing Link must join forces to take on the zombie carrots and somehow, someway find a way to defeat these denizens of the dirt if they are ever going to take back the night”. – The BBC’s description of this film.

This film is so ghastly that it makes “Mary Poppins” look on a parallel with “Gone with the Wind”, and that that was God-damned awful too!

Yes, I did watch it; with a bucket and a towel on hand. I believe that before you can criticise a film you must watch it and not rely on what the media has to say about it. In this case they were so right! Crap! Scraping the bottom of the barrel!

I’ll never look another carrot in the face again!

What has happened to our film industry to churn out this type of absolute rubbish in the name of entertainment?

I will admit I haven’t heard of this one. Killer carrots, but then you could argue that all our food is killing us. Do the carrots actually get up and run around? 😀

Believe it or not, it was on the BBC iPlayer last week, previously shown on the Kiddies Channel. It must have frightened the shit out of the little ones; they will probably never eat carrots ever again! I’m not surprised there are more children than ever who need counselling after watching the trash on TV. My own daughter used to have nightmares about Daleks and Cybermen when she was about 7. I had to ban her from watching Dr Who in the end. – Keith.

That’s a real film? Incredible. My little people would be traumatised after seeing this.

That story must have been written by someone in dire need of urgent psychological help. Not exactly Beatrix Potter material is it? Can you imagine it; “The Zombies meet Jemima Puddle Duck”! – Keith.

  3. You have me intrigued by this film . . . never heard of it and shame I never had a good laugh at it . . . the carrots in my fridge fortunately have not metamorphosed into such fearsome zombies . . shame it is no longer on iPlayer.

    I must admit though I rather liked Mary Poppins and Gone With The Wind . . . loved Scarlet O’Hara . . . 🙂

  4. Oh dear, Oh dear. Oh dear . . . I’ve found the youtube and it is every bit as awful as you describe . . . again Oh dear!! . . can’t think of any one or body who would like this . . except maybe a zombie carrot . . .

I love this, it’s a cute movie for kids, fun way to poke at carrots, made well, good graphics and the kids love it as well. I made a Halloween costume of it!

Hi Rosie, thanks for the comment, but I will stick with my original appraisal of that film.
I gave up using this blog because I was down to one reader everybody else seems to have moved to Facilebook now!
