Having a couple of hours to spare whilst waiting for a friend who was coming to dinner, I went onto the YouTube site to watch a few funny videos. What I eventually found was not funny; in fact I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I found some Government TV adverts about catching benefit cheats.

Something rather odd about them struck me. All the actors (at least I assume they were actors) were white and obviously British. I couldn’t find one that showed a coloured person.

I don’t have a television because I feel that the licence fee is too much to pay to watch the crap that now passes for entertainment, so I don’t see these biassed adverts.

I could list all the links to the adverts on YouTube, but quite frankly I am disgusted with the Governments racist attitude that all benefit cheats are white, so I wont bother. If you want to see them type “benefit cheat advert” into the YouTube search box, or click onto the thumbnail pictures that appear when the video finishes.

Can someone out there please explain to me why the immigrant population are classed as “white than white” (as the saying goes) and not regarded as benefit cheats? I know that there are white benefit cheats because some of the local “ne’er-do-wells” seem to have loads of money to chuck around on beer every night in my local pub. Is it a fact that the coloured population just don’t cheat the system, or are the Government just being politically correct?

I resent the implication that only my ethnic group are regarded as criminals by our own Govt!

Newspaper clipSenior officers say smashed car windows and other damage to cars should not be classed as criminal damage if nothing is stolen. They even accused front line bobbies of being “too quick” to assume that an offence has been committed when motorists report damage to their vehicles. Unbelievable!

Apparently it is only classed as a crime if someone gets hurt in the incident, either the owner, the perpetrator or a third party.

Added to this is the fact that “anti-social behaviour” is not a crime it’s, well, just anti-social behaviour probably on a par to a child being naughty and vandalising the furniture because its parents wont let him have some sweets.

Adding these two facts together it is tantamount to giving the street yobs a licence to smash up someones car just for the fun of it, and because they haven’t committed a crime they get away with it scot-free! This is apparently what happened last week on the public car park in our town.
Wrecked car

I parked my car on the public car park last week to go shopping and nearby I saw this badly damaged car. The owner, a young woman, was standing by it extremely upset. I asked her what had happened and she replied that she lived in a flat near the car park and had gone out intending to go to work and found it in the condition you see here.

She told me that she had only recently moved to Earl Shilton and didn’t know many people and couldn’t imagine who would do such a thing to her. She also told me that the police had only just left, and apart from walking around the car and taking notes they had issued her with an “incident number” to give to her insurance company when she claimed for the damage, they told her that it was not advisable to park on a public car park overnight. Then left.

Vandalised carCan you imagine how this young woman must feel? How would you feel if it was your car?

I think that de-criminalising vandalism on cars is one of the things the police have done to massage the crime figures. I keep reading about how the crime rate is falling in this country, yet I only have to look around our town to see what appears to be an increase in local crime. Even one junior ranking officer said in the above article “It is outrageous to attempt to manipulate the crime figures and make things look a lot more rosy than they are. . . . you can imagine the anger of a member of the public when a constable has to explain to then that vandalism is not criminal damage.”

So now that vandalism isn’t a crime anymore perhaps the police can get on with the job of catching the real criminals . . . . the motorists!

Yes, that is a paving slab that was thrown at the windscreen!

In my last post I stated that I hadn’t quite reached the ‘Grumpy Old Git’ stage yet. Well, I was lying, I have.

Some time ago I heard an interview on the radio with an eminent economist. The discussion was based on sustainable resources and the effects of over population depleting those essential resources. The economist predicted that the UK’s resources will be seriously undermined or even completely depleted because of the massive levels of population growth in our country. He went on to explain the ideal population levels for a country of our size and how its resources in the form of housing, land for food production, electricity, water supplies, roads rail and other transport means plus excellent health care and education system for the people could be sustained. The economist said that the ideal population level for all of the above, in a country of the size of the UK, would be around 15 million rising to a maximum of about 21 million people.

It was not difficult to believe that he was correct. Can you imagine just what a wonderful country ours would be with a population level between 15 and 21 million? There would be sufficient numbers to produce the wealth that the nation needed. Enough land to be virtually self-sufficient in food, our roads would be less crowded and not grid locked as at present. Housing would be planned to cater for the needs of the people and their families. The health and education systems would cope more than adequately, providing excellent services. And, perhaps most importantly, there would be sufficient space both in urban and rural areas for the people to breathe without a sense of claustrophobia. They would have the space for peace and quiet if they wanted it.

It has been predicted that our population will reach 70 million in only a few year’s time, and this is probably quite a realistic prediction. This rise is not the result of the native population having so many children as the cause, but is the result of the social engineering policies of successive governments who deliberately flooded our country with foreigners who, traditionally, have large families thus adding to the burdens placed on the use of our resources and space, to the detriment of the native British, (especially the English).

What the politicians, academics, ‘intellectuals’, planners and other assorted ‘liberals’ and ‘free thinkers’ have done to our nation is nothing short of a criminal act of treason to the British people. Yet these same people who have committed this criminal folly have always found ways in which they avoid living with the consequences of their actions. - Grumpygit.

In reply to Guyana Girl‘s question in the previous post of what constitutes a “yob” I will try and define the meaning as I see it.

Yobbos!I thought everyone knew what a yob was, goodness knows, we see enough of them nowadays! A precise definition is difficult – in the early days before the youth of today got really out of hand, it was a ‘backwards boy’, y-o-b!

What constitutes yobbish behaviour? At what point does shouting, excessive drinking, swearing, graffiti, fighting, drug taking, mugging, stealing etc. become anti-social? In the Governments book, never it seems, they just put it down to high spirits but in my book just behaving in an anti-social manner and being a pain in the neck constitutes a yob. Incidently yob can also be a young girl now, because some of them are worse than the boys.

I’m afraid that I’ve lost my respect and confidence in the younger generation; I don’t trust any of them. In my waning years now I have had too many bad experiences at their hands so I avoid contact with them whenever I can. Sad, I know, but I prefer it this way.

NewspaperI bought a copy of the local paper again today to be confronted with yet more evidence of the “falling crime rate” in our area, as you can see from the front page.

A Leicester based paper said that my town, and the adjoining town of Barwell, have the highest crime rate per head of the population than anywhere in the Midlands!

Where are the police you ask? Honestly, in my 13 years of living in this area I have never seen a policeman actually walking the streets. I have been told that they have been spotted by eagle-eyed people on the odd occasion. I have seen some lady ‘Community Support Officers’ at times, but only in daylight hours and walking in two’s or three’s. Until the Earl shilton Bypass was built we used to get police cars racing through the town with their fairy lights flashing and making enough noise to wake the dead. Now the bypass is in use we don’t even see them anymore.

Nowadays young offenders are just given a caution, in other words a “telling off”. In just eight years 1,873 criminals received at least 10 “cautions” each (Home Office figures)!

When youngsters learn from the outset that they have nothing to fear from the law, is it surprising that so many choose crime as a career?

Must go now to raise the drawbridge, lock the gates and instruct the sentries on the battlements of ‘Smithy Castle’ to stay awake and be alert at all times.

I have the current “Hinckley Times”, which also covers the local area including my town Earl Shilton, in front of me. One report states ‘Crime in the town has fallen’ and goes on to say:

“Overall crime in Hinckley (I suppose that means the district as well)is down 5.5%, equalling 135 fewer victims.

Figures show incidents of racially aggravated crime are down 42% (not surprising, there are very few immigrants in this area), incidents of criminal damage are down 20%, incidents of anti-social behaviour are down 14.6% (obviously the person who quoted this figure doesn’t live in Shilton!)are there were 27 less burglaries compared to a year ago”.

The italics are mine.

Attacked manThe front page headlines on this paper show a Senior Citizen covered in blood after a vicious attack by three youths who set upon him and stole the takeaway meal he had just bought. They stamped on his face and he finished up in hospital. The paper states:

“The law prevents these boys being named because they are under 18″.

However the three were given “referral orders”, (wrists slapped, and warned that if they do it again they will be told off again!) supervised by the ‘Youth Offending Service’. Yet another politically correct do-gooder organisation to help the little darlings get over the traumatic experience of beating up an old man and robbing him.

But I digress. Other news items in the same paper include:

‘Girl, 5, breaks leg after being hit by a car that failed to stop’
‘Store raid terror for workers at the Co-op’
‘Man punched after fracas outside takeway’
‘Police hunting three men after attempted abduction’
‘Man in cider theft’
‘E-fit released after vicious assault’
‘Appeal after an assault in Station Road’
‘Director’s council tax fraud’
‘Man stole from gran’
‘Man faces drugs rap’
‘Devastated at barn stock theft’
‘Man bailed on crack cocaine charge’
‘Sheds broken into and contents stolen’

These are all separate incidents, and this is all from one weeks local paper. Every week I have noticed that the number of crimes is increasing. Twenty years ago there were perhaps one of two crimes reported. Believe me there are a lot of “minor crimes” in our town which go unreported.

Twenty years ago I very rarely locked up at night; naughty I know, but I felt I could trust the people around me. Not now, I lock the front and back door at all times now and never leave a window open at night or when I’m out. I always put the safety chain on before answering the door because recently I  had “persons unknown” trying to open the back door on two occasions when I’ve been in the house!

During the last warm spell we had, I think it was the last week in May, I decided to go for a walk in the local park. I sat on the bench you see in the left picture and started to eat an apple. Because I don’t like the skin I used my pocket knife to peel it, and laid the knife on the bench next to me.

Note from the picture that there is a children’s play area about 100yds in front of the bench.

After about ten minutes two young women with a “gaggle of brats” (my collective term for a group of children), about 6 of them I think, came into the park and entered the fenced off area and closed the gate, presumably to keep the kids from escaping, although the authorities tell us the fence is to stop the local dogs from using it as a crapping area.

All pretty harmless until now, you think.

After another ten minutes or so I noticed a police car pull up on the car park to my right (see second picture). Two police persons got out, a man and a woman, and walked up the path towards me. I thought “Wonder what they want?”. I soon found out . Me!

They stopped in front of me and the female officer asked me what I thought I was doing? I answered that I was sitting on a bench eating an apple. This explanation apparently upset her, so the male then said “We have had a complaint from one of the ladies(?) in charge of the children over there”, he indicated the play area and continued “that you are watching the children, and they find it very disturbing”.

“I was here before they even turned up, and I’m not the slightest bit interested in the kids; in fact I hate children!” I replied.

“Nevertheless we would prefer it if you moved away, so as not to cause any unpleasantness. You must understand that this is just a polite request and will not be put on record if you comply with it”. (Wow! An educated policeman, he can use big words).

So I picked up my penknife to put it away and his eyes opened wide. “Is that on offensive weapon you have?” “No”, I replied, “It’s a tool and has a blade less than three inches, it’s not a lock-knife and it has a ‘drop-point’ so it is excempt from the knife laws”. I know this because I checked the law before I bought it. He obviously didn’t know about this exception clause, so he turned and walked a few paces and talked into his mic.

He had already written my name and adress into his little black book (Wow! He could write too! I was impressed!) so he was probably checking up to see whether I was on the Sex Offenders Register, or on the knife laws; or both.

He returned and asked me to go again, so rather than make a fuss, I went. Now I am wary about going in the park when there are children about. I never felt uneasy befrore, but I do now.

Afterthought: What a sick country this has become where the politically correct seem to rule over us, and all elderly men are looked on as potential child molesters and paedophiles!

Why do we as a British people have to put up with brutal gangs who want this country for their own, kill our policemen, shout baby killers to our troops, demand their own laws, money, homes and jobs, and why do we have to put up with these people who call our police service and all the individuals in it, ‘institutionally racist’?

Who are the people who permitted my country to be overrun with people who don’t belong here, are not like us, do not have the same tolerances, religions, respect or behaviour, or in any way shape or form warrant so much attention in deference to those who’s country it is, who would, if they believed an entire group of people can have one collective psyche, be in danger of beginning to hate the very people who’s job it is to protect us?

My hope therefore is that we do not begin to hate each other but that we must collectively learn to realise that it is our government and politicians we need to hate, for they created the problem of the multicultural melting pot which has turned my country into a place where only hatred grows for the indigenous population who built it. A place where only victimisation, discrimination and guilt are aimed at the white man by fools who think that an entire group of people can be ‘racist’, and with a government that thinks itself clever that it destroyed its own people with mass immigration, which will continue to bring only hatred and further oppression against the indigenous people of Britain unless it is prevented.

I posted the following last November on a different blog and I’m repeating it now because the bustard has struck again! He did my cousin for the SAME OFFENCE yesterday in a “copy-cat” situation. Unbelievable! She is not the worlds greatest car-parker (is any woman?) and rear of the car was slightly over the line.

Traffic WardenHitler is alive and well, and is now employed as a Car Park Attendant in our little town.

A few weeks ago one of my many friends said he was going into town to do some shopping and would I like to accompany him. I had some library books to change and I needed some bits and pieces myself so I said yes.

It wasn’t a particularly busy day in town so there was oodles of room to park. Another reason there was plenty of room is the fact that Hinckley as a town is dying because of the greed of the local Council, (car parking charges recently increased) and the business rates on the shops also increased. Consequently as the shops are closing down (3 this week) people are now going to the nearby towns to shop. But I digress….

We parked the car, paid the exorbitant fee required, and displayed the ticket in the windscreen as requested ordered by the Council notice and made our way into town. After completing our business we went into a local hostelry for a beer and a bun.

My Car

Clic the pic to enlarge

We returned to the car with half an hour left on the ticket, but to our surprise there was a ticket on the windscreen stating that we had committed a “Violation”!

Our car is the red Peugeot in the centre of the picture. Apparently we had inadvertently parked with one wheel over the line of the parking bay and had picked up a £50 fine!

Notice Board

Clic the pic to enlarge

Sure enough when I looked closely at the notice board I could see quite clearly that we had committed a dastardly crime! If the car park had been full and we were preventing someone else from parking in the next bay I could understand it, but look at the car park . . . practically empty; so what did it matter if we had parked a bit over the line? This is bureaucracy gone mad! Haven’t the peasants the that Council employ got any brains and common sense? Perhaps they have their orders and must “obey orders at all times”

As you can imagine, we were hopping mad and set out to find this little jumped-up Hitler but he had vanished back into his bunker somewhere. If we had found him he would probably have said “It’s more that my jobs worth mate”.

My friend had to pay the £50 in the end. He tried to appeal against it, but to no avail. Guess which two people are not going shopping in Hinckley ever again. In future it will be Leicester.
