I’m a bit busy at the moment, so I thought I would show you a video of my cat until I get a bit of time to blog properly, but in the meantime I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas just in case I take a bit longer than expected.

Pat: They do say that the quiet ones are the most dangerous! Cats, that is, not John. I just tried Johns blog and it came up OK. As far as I know he is still around, I haven’t seen him for about three weeks (thank goodness!). There are limits you know. . . .

Dinky is well trained – he knows what a scratching post and toy mouse are for. Our cats had a lovely new scratching post for Christmas some years back and they used it as a toilet. It was impossible to clean so we had to throw it out! What are you going to give Dinky this Christmas?

Here are a few facts, which might help you decide if you've had the unfortunate experience of meeting me in real life or not ... I am 75 going on 30, divorced and available. I enjoy French cooking, drinking lots of wine, (French of course!) and holidaying in France (on a pittance, I might add!). I also have a passion for amateur radio and electronics. I design and make stained glass windows now purely as a hobby (It used to be my trade until I retired). My other interests are archery and French boule; playing Petanque with friends and a nice bottle of vin rouge on the side.
