As you may be aware all comments are moderated before I put them up, this is because of spam and idiots who seem to have nothing better to do with their time. Because of the number of abusive comments I have received on my “Troop Aid” post I have removed the comment box. I stongly suspect that these comments (so far I have had 29 since that post) are from one person who is obviously barely able to read and write english because they all have the same smelling pistakes and bad grammar in them; and all are anonymous. I am fed up with having to trash comments calling me a ‘nazi’, ‘scum’ and worse for supporting our troops in Afghanistan everytime I log on to my page. Apologies to anyone who commented sensibly. I hope the person responsible can now see that none of his filth actually shows up on my page, so ‘go away’ in Anglo-Saxon! *polite cough* Oh, I almost forgot to mention it but it’s my Birthday today, just in case you wanted to send me a pressie or an eCard. . . .(hint)

I was so busy admiring your mum that I forgot to come back read this post. Belated happy birthday. I hope that the heat from the candles didn’t singe your eyebrows too much. It’s wierd, you could say that the troops in Afghanistan are defending helpless people against Nazi like ideas. I expect your spammer doesn’t have the capabilities to think that far ahead. If he was so sure of what he was saying he wouldn’t hide behind Anon.

I wish you a very happy birthday and hope you do well in your quest to support the troops, i don’t agree with blazing, what’s the point of having a blog if your going to block everyones ip address if you want a private blog then don’t post it on the internet, it’s a big world out there with lot’s of different opinions, thanks and have a lovely day.. Here are a few facts, which might help you decide if you've had the unfortunate experience of meeting me in real life or not ... I am 75 going on 30, divorced and available. I enjoy French cooking, drinking lots of wine, (French of course!) and holidaying in France (on a pittance, I might add!). I also have a passion for amateur radio and electronics. I design and make stained glass windows now purely as a hobby (It used to be my trade until I retired). My other interests are archery and French boule; playing Petanque with friends and a nice bottle of vin rouge on the side.
