Pages missing

It has been brought to my attention that my webpages, including this one, are sometimes not available. This is because my hosting company are "currently experiencing server problems" and are sorry for any inconvenience.

So if you are not able to see this page at present (?) please don't worry, you're not missing much anyway! You're probably better off not reading my drivel.

In the meantime here is some music. . . . . .

Drat! the phonograph doesn't work now! Sorry.

I'm not sure if it is working or not as I'm really not paying any attention. :-)

I suppose your Skype update should have been a warning. I downloaded IE 8 and my computer has started playing (even more) tricks on me. For example it doesn't like me using the BBC as my homepage and it often tells me "Internet Explorer cannot access this webpage" when i'm looking for my usual favourites.

Sandy - I had the same problem with my Internet Explorer 8. It wouldn't open my homepage, or several others that I like. No explanation or cure was offered, so I dumped it and changed to Mozilla Firefox. Now I don't have any problems, and Firefox is much better and easier to use.

I received your email and took note of your suggestions about the pills, but they are not available on the NHS here; too expensive!

Jono - My pages are all back up now, the problem with the servers has been resolved, I hope!

Blazing - It's all your fault! (well, got to blame someone haven't I?)

Mozilla / Firefox, Opera and I don't remember the others...but definitely not IE!

Keith, sometimes I can't comment for some reason. Aw, never mind, some of your stories will stay with me not matter what. Like the WW2 one with you as a li'l chappie in the outdoor loo.
