When I read the following quote on a far-right webpage I thought the writer was referring to the present situation in Britain about the indigenous population and the immigrants. That is until I read the last five words.
Two nations between whom there is no intercourse and no sympathy; who are ignorant of each other's habits, thoughts and feelings, as if they were dwellers in different zones or inhabitants of different planets; who are formed by different breeding, are fed by different food, are ordered by different manners, and are not governed by the same laws ... the rich and the poor! The above is from Benjamin Disraeli's book, Sybil written in 1845, but it could equally be applied to modern Britain. The poor get poorer and the rich get richer.
Similarily Cromwells speech to Parliament in 1653 could be applied to our Parliament now!
They say that history repeats itself and "what goes around comes around".
Yes, I do read the facist webpages i.e., the BNP, the NF and Nu-Labour, as well as the silly ones, the Green Party, the Monster Raving Looney Party and the Lib Dems. I read the sensible ones too; the Conservative Party and the Independent Party.
I like to get a balanced view of why the quality of my life as a poor Old Age Pensioner is slowly being destroyed in the name of Globalisation!Labels: Politics |

I agree with you Keith. The new Nazis are the Labour Party Government and the police are there SS troopers. I have been stopped three times this week by the police and they have wanted to see my documents and have checked around my car looking for something to pin on me becuse I was out late at night, I work shifts. I heard they pay people called the UAF to intimidat members of the BNp and others by using violence against them.

Mike - I think you are referring to the "Unite Against Facism" movement. It was on the news recently about a group of them who attacked a man delivering leaflets door to door for the 'National Front' (I think). They hit him with a claw hammer apparently. Definitely the sort of people I would not like to meet on a dark night!

"Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it." ~George Santayana
If you've never read it, read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. I'm trudging through it now, and it aptly describes the situation here in the States right now...

Wrong, it's the "Searchlight" organisation that is supported, and financed, by the Government to discredit and smear the BNP. David Cameron and a host of other MP's are on their list of sponsors!
The "UAF" are just a bunch of mindless thugs who take the law into their own hands.

I say, steady on chaps! We are going a bit 'off-topic' now.
We don't want to done for "inciting political hatred by causing alarm and despondency" do we?

The reason that society is incapable of addressing the racial issue is because we view it from the wrong perspective. We talk all around the fundamental, underlying reasons for racism, and make it an emotional issue. How does one expect to cure the cancer without focusing on the cancerous cells? Focusing on the symptoms is an ineffective mechanism to employ. Consider this: http://www.tinyurl.com/aq4cdb

Poverty is global.
We should all become member of parliaments and claim benefits for maids, manure, etc.
